Precautions for reuse of muffle furnace after long-term shutdown:
1. When the muffle furnace is used for the first time or used again after long-term shutdown, it must be dried. The oven drying time shall be four hours at room temperature of 200 ℃. 200 ℃ to 600 ℃ for four hours. During use, the maximum furnace temperature shall not exceed the rated temperature to avoid burning out the electric heating elements. It is forbidden to pour various liquids and easily soluble metals into the furnace. The muffle furnace shall be operated below the maximum temperature of 50 ℃ as far as possible. The furnace wire will have a long life after the muffle furnace is stopped for a long time.
2. The muffle furnace and controller must work in a place where the relative humidity does not exceed 85% and there is no conductive dust, explosive gas or corrosive gas. When metal materials with grease and the like need to be heated, a large amount of volatile gas will affect and corrode the surface of the electric heating element, so as to destroy it and shorten its life. Therefore, during heating, timely prevent and properly seal the container or properly open holes to eliminate.
3. The controller shall be limited to the ambient temperature range of 0-40 ℃.
4. According to the technical requirements, regularly check whether the wiring of the electric furnace and controller is in good condition, whether the pointer of the indicator is stuck and detained when moving, and the matters needing attention during secondary use are demagnetization, wire expansion, spring fatigue, balance damage, etc.
5. The thermocouple shall not be pulled out suddenly at high temperature to prevent the jacket from cracking.
6. Keep the furnace clean and remove oxides and other things in the furnace in time.
The above are the precautions for muffle furnace. It will better prolong the service life of the machine if it is used as required.
